Adapted from Will Eisner's legendary comic book graphical novels, its an action-packed sinister gut-wrenching story of a former rookie cop Denny Colt (Gabriel Macht) who is mysteriously murdered and reborn again as the Spirit, only to begin fighting crime in the dark shadows of Central City. But his arch-enemy, the OCTOPUS (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different vision, one which involves the total destruction of Central City.
