Bertram Pincus (Ricky Gervais) is a guy whose people skills leave a little to be desired. When Pincus unexpectedly dies and is mysteriously revived, he awakes from the dead to discover that he now has the amazingly annoying ability to see ghosts. More over all the ghosts he see`s want something from him, especially one Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear) who cajoles Pincus into the middle of a spirited love triangle with his former wife.
